Member News: Lindsey Weiler, Bill Doherty, and Kere Hughes-Belding

  • Lindsey Weiler, Ph.D., LMFT, received the Rising Star Faculty Award by the Women's Philanthropic Leadership Circle in the College of Education and Human Development at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Weiler is an assistant professor of family social science. Her research designed to help at-risk children is being funded by the William T. Grant Foundation.

  • NCFR Past President William J. Doherty, Ph.D. was exceptionally busy in front of the camera, being interviewed for a story on how fatherhood has changed over the years on WCCO-TV in Minnesota, and in a video on how to build inclusiveness in the workplace by BigThink.com. 

  • Kere Hughes-Belding, Ph.D. received the the Career Achievement in Teaching Award by the College of Human Sciences at Iowa State University. Dr. Hughes-Belding is a associate professor of human development and family studies, and the director of graduate studies at Iowa State University.
