NCFR member Robin L. Gallagher, MA, CFLE, died on June 15, 2019, at age 53. She was a member of NCFR for nine years. 

Ms. Gallagher earned her bachelor's and master's degrees from Western Michigan University, where she went on to teach. She was a faculty specialist and student adviser in the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences and taught Family Science and sociology courses. 

Her primary research area was on children, adolescents and media. She contributed an article on domestic violence to an issue of CFLE Network, the magazine for Certified Family Life Educators. The public can read her article here.
