NCFR Launches Student Access Grant to Redress Systemic Racism
The NCFR Board of Directors is actively considering next steps we can take as an organization to address systemic racism in our organization, in the places where members work, and in our society at large. We know that problems exist for individuals from historically marginalized racial or ethnic populations all along the academic pipeline.
In response, the board has directed the creation of the NCFR Student Access Grant sponsoring student members and student non-members from historically marginalized racial or ethnic populations to attend the 2020 NCFR Annual Conference.
Submitting for grant support and donating to the NCFR Student Access Grant is simple and easy. Please help us make this initiative successful and share this opportunity within your network as you encourage attendance for this year’s NCFR Annual Conference.
-
Students: request grant support by completing this form by Oct. 31, 2020.
-
To make a donation to the grant fund you may donate online here or when you register for the conference.
Thanks for your support in this small first step of the important work we want to undertake together.
