New Doctoral Program in Youth Development and Family Science

The University of Florida in Gainesville has announced a new doctoral program in Youth Development and Family Science (YDFS), which will begin in fall 2017.

The 90-credit Ph.D. program is designed to prepare students to conduct high-impact research addressing the problems, issues, and needs relevant to developing youth, their families, and the communities in which they live.

This Ph.D. is appropriate for those planning to pursue a tenure-track faculty position or a research career in the government, nonprofit, or private sectors. The admissions deadline for priority consideration for funding is Jan. 15, 2017.
