The COAMFTE-accredited Marriage and Family Therapy Program at Bethel Seminary (Bethel University) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the advanced assistant or the associate professor level. As a faith-based institution, Bethel’s MFT program emphasizes integration of faith into clinical practices and teaching. The MFT Program has approximately 120 students. The professor will teach graduate courses in marriage and family therapy program. The professor will also be required to direct the MFT hybrid program.

The candidate is a member of the core MFT faculty and fills four broad roles:
- Administrative
- Teaching, Supervision and Advising
- Research
- Practice and Service

Responsibilities
- Teaching marriage and family therapy graduate courses; Directing the hybrid MFT program
-Supervising graduate marriage and family therapy practicum students
-Maintaining some form of research in the field of family therapy or mental health counseling
-Providing service to the University and the field of marriage and family therapy through state, regional, and national associations.

Education--Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy from a COAMFTE-accredited program or closely related field required. Also required is AAMFT Clinical Fellowship and Approved Supervisor Status and eligibility for licensure as an LMFT in Minnesota.
