The Adoption and Foster Care Focus Group provides an opportunity for sharing information and resources among the NCFR members interested in adoption, foster care, and adoptive and foster families. Annual meetings assist in networking and sharing of ideas particularly for individuals enriched by personal experiences in/with adoptive families and foster care, professionals who apply Family Science research to inform adoption and fostering decisions, and researchers seeking opportunities to collaborate with peers nationally and globally.

Focus group meetings and online discussions are designed to be inclusive, welcoming individuals with interests in related areas such as assisted reproductive technologies, adoption disruption, reunification, and honoring birth families, etc.).
