Issues in Aging Focus Group

At our annual meeting, we brainstorm and encourage collaboration among our members whose interests focus on a wide range of aging-related topics including health, caregiving, intergenerational ties, grandparenting, cultural differences, etc. As the population ages, and the baby boomers approach later life, the health and well-being needs of the aging population are increasingly relevant for families, the economy, the health care system, and training contexts - to name a few. The presence of an aging focus within NCFR meets a national and global need for research and practice.
