This symposium is designed to examine how Family Life Education (FLE) is designed, delivered and practiced across the globe. First, the concept of “culture” will be re-examined, and then scholars from four distinct countries will each discuss the current state of FLE practices that exist within their borders.

This session previews a special issue of the Journal of Family Theory and Review that will consider what it will take for family policy to achieve firmer footing as a field of inquiry, particularly in the current political climate. This session will be live streamed.
