This workshop will address the ways that scholars engage and advocate for communities at the local, state, and national level in our professional and personal lives.

Those interested in becoming a Certified Family Life Educator are invited to attend. Dawn Cassidy will review the process and present helpful tips.

Workshop participants will learn about characteristics and components of good quality case studies; strategies for incorporating case study analysis into classroom teaching; and explore different approaches to designing a classroom action research project that will more definitively measure their effectiveness.

Attendees will understand how to conduct, and present the findings of a survival analysis in a manner that will allow their audiences to understand the results and use them in their own practice or research.
