2018 NCFR Preconference Workshops

Add preconference workshops when you register for the conference. Here's the 2018 preconference lineup:

If you've already registered for full-conference or single-day conference participation, you can still add a preconference to your registration online later as space allows.

Continuing Education (CE) and Certificate of Attendance

Looking for continuing education hours or a certificate to show you attended conference sessions? Select the appropriate organization/option when you register for the in-person or live-streaming conference events.

NCFR is an approved provider of continuing education (CE) for NBCC, the National Board for Certified Counselors, at $25 for NCFR members and $50 for nonmembers.

If you would like to have proof of your conference attendance, please add the NCFR Certificate of Attendance with your registration ($25 for NCFR members, $50 for nonmembers). This option is available to Certified Family Life Educators (CFLEs) who wish to have proof of their attendance.

Live-Streaming Option — 'Attend' the Conference Online

Can't attend the 2018 NCFR Annual Conference in person? You can register to stream conference sessions online. We'll be streaming 18 conference sessions in 2018, and the broadcast schedule is now available to view.

Your live-streaming registration also gets you on-demand access to all session video recordings for a full year after the conference.

Live-Streaming Rates

  • NCFR members: $119
  • Nonmembers: $275
  • International viewers (outside the U.S. and Canada): Pay based on the World Bank's economic classification of your country. Price tiers are $119, $83, $48, and $12.

Adding an Item to Your Completed Registration

If you already completed a conference registration but later decide you would like to add an event — such as a preconference workshop or continuing education credits — you may do so online by logging in at my.ncfr.org, clicking the "Events" menu item, and clicking "Edit" next to the conference event for which you'd like to modify your registration.

Cancellations and Refunds

Refund requests must be submitted in writing and posted by Oct. 11, 2018. No refunds after Oct. 11. No refunds for special events, workshops, or preconference events unless the event is canceled. Refund checks will be mailed approximately three weeks after the conference.

All refunds are subject to an administrative processing fee of $50 ($30 for student registrations).

Please email Sue Baker, NCFR's accounting manager, about any cancellation/refund requests.

In the event that NCFR must cancel an annual conference due to low enrollment, inclement weather, or other circumstances that would make the event non-viable, registrants will be offered a full refund. Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of the conference, NCFR has the right to either issue a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at a new, future date.
