This session will focus on international organizations and agencies that focus on family research and its application to family policies. Presenters will give an overview of their organizations, the contributions and challenges they face, and the extent to which their work has been impactful.
Objectives
Attendees will: (1) become familiar with the principal international organizations conducting applied family research and policy advisement; (2) learn about the scope of international family policy formation; (3) hear about the opportunities and challenges associated with family policy implementation in a global context
