Summary
This study aims to explore Chinese parents' knowledge and attitudes toward child sexual abuse prevention education in a South Western province in China. Chinese parents completed a 20-question survey (N=982) about their attitudes toward child sexual abuse prevention education. Eighteen parents (ongoing data collection) have participated in semi-structured interviews regarding their opinion about child sexual abuse prevention education. Results, so far, demonstrate that most of the Chinese parents have positive attitudes about child sexual abuse prevention education. However, many parents still lack of knowledge about child sexual abuse, programs or educational resources about child sexual abuse prevention.
