2021 NCFR Conference Continuing Education and Attendance Verification
The National Council on Family Relations (NCFR) is an approved provider of Continuing Education (CE) through its 2021 annual conference.
Verification of attendance for each session is required in order to earn CE credit hours. Only sessions identified as approved qualify for CE credit hours. Organizational approval and CE credit hours for each session are indicated on the CE verification form.
NBCC CE Verification: NCFR is an approved provider of continuing education for NBCC, the National Board for Certified Counselors. Add NBCC CE Verification to your conference registration at $25 for NCFR members and $50 for nonmembers. The number of approved credit hours will be communicated later this fall.
Most U.S. states accept NBCC credit for licensure requirements for marriage and family therapists. For information on specific state requirements, please consult your state’s licensing board.
Verification of Conference Attendance (for any attendee, including CFLEs): Add Verification of Conference Attendance to your conference registration if you would like to have your conference attendance verified. $25 for NCFR members, $50 for nonmembers.
This option is available to Certified Family Life Educators (CFLEs) if desired for their own records; NCFR does not require CFLEs to submit CE verification. The totla number of credit hours will be announced later this fall.
A list of all sessions approved for CE credit hours will be posted here later this fall.
Continuing Education Procedures
If you register for CE or verification of conference attendance, you will submit verification of your session attendance via an online webform. You will receive an email shortly before the conference with the link to the verification webform with instructions about how and when to complete the form.
Certificates for NBCC and for Verification of Conference Attendance will be sent via email after your conference verification submission is reviewed by NCFR. A timeline will be posted later this fall.
Please note: Only one CE/Attendance Verification certificate will be issued so please view/participate in all sessions you intend to receive credit for before submitting the form.
Sessions that qualify for NBCC CE credit hours are indicated on the CE verification form and on the list of sessions approved for CE credit hours.
National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC)
