About the NCFR Annual Conference
Each year, over a thousand faculty, researchers, students, and family professionals present cutting-edge work and make valuable professional connections at the annual conference of NCFR — the premier professional association for understanding and strengthening families through interdisciplinary research, theory, and practice.
Connection is a hallmark of NCFR conferences — often referred to as the “Family Reunion” of Family Science — a place where students form career-spanning relationships with colleagues and where professionals from across many disciplines and nationalities converge to learn from each other.
Conference presenters and attendees come from the disciplines of Family Science, human development, sociology, psychology, demography, social work, family therapy, and more.
Thank you to everyone who submitted a 2023 proposal by March 1. All first authors will be notified of their proposal status by June 1, 2023. See full call information.
NCFR is committed to ensuring the health and well-being of conference participants. Read more.
