NCFR Report: Resilience and Healing
The array of questions addressed in Family Science reflects the diverse realities of people’s experiences. How do Family Scientists address the complexities of families and family life? By engaging in dialogue that encourages family professionals to see how something can be both beneficial and harmful at the same time. This process of dialectical thinking invites researchers and practitioners to explore the complexity. In doing so, a deepened understanding of how two things that seem to be in conflict may indeed be true at the same time. In addition to insights into Resilience and Healing across contexts and settings, the articles in this issue invite the reader to explore the conflicts in one’s understanding of the process of resilience and healing.
