Child Indicators Research, a peer-reviewed journal published by the International Society for Child Indicators, seeks manuscripts for a 2019 special issue on child neglect. The editors' view of this topic focuses on the child and reaches beyond families and communities to include the role of government. 

Papers are sought that explore protective factors, community interventions, and policies that prevent neglect and its consequences for development across the lifespan.
