Call for Papers: Transforming Family Contexts Through Education
Family Science Review is calling for papers for a special thematic issue titled “Transforming Family Contexts Through Education.” This issue has an anticipated publication date of June 1, 2020.
In many parts of the world, rising expenses for education and issues of funding have brought on a global investigation into how education influences the institution of family. For this special issue of Family Science Review, scholarly papers on early childhood education, education of parents, parent involvement within the school, post-secondary education, education in different cultures, and education’s related factors such as social mobility, financial security, and job security, will be reviewed. The issue will also serve as a platform to discuss current and future directions for child and family education policies.
The editor welcomes articles from a variety of perspectives, including children and family practitioners, scholars within the field of family science, as well as those in related field disciplines.
Articles with implications for strengthening all family types, including diverse families, are strongly encouraged.
Completed manuscripts must be submitted by Feb. 15, 2020.
