Celebrating NCFR Members

NCFR Fellow, Jennifer L. Kerpelman, Ph.D., was recently named associate vice president for research at Auburn University. Since joining the university in 1999, Dr. Kerpelman has enhanced external research support for faculty, fostered strategic collaborations with human sciences faculty, and steadily increased research funding in the College of Human Sciences. NCFR student member, Elia Hilda Bueno, M.A., doctoral candidate, is the recipient of a University of Arizona centennial achievement award in recognition of her outstanding achievements and commitment to families and communities, demonstrating integrity and persistence. Ms. Bueno is in the human development and Family Science program. Learn more

Mariana K. Falconier, Ph.D., is on the board of and chairing the outreach and partnership committee for, the Latinx Employee Association, a new faculty and staff association at the University of Maryland, College Park. Dr. Falconier is associate professor in the Department of Family Science and is also the director of the couple and family therapy master's program. Find out more
