NCFR wishes to congratulate Annamaria Csizmadia, Ph.D.; and Kari Adamsons, Ph.D., for receiving the Provost's 2024 Alumni Faculty Excellence Awards from the University of Connecticut.

Annamaria Csizmadia
                

Dr. Csizmadia was granted the faculty excellence in undergraduate teaching award. An associate professor in the Department of Human Development and Family Sciences, Dr. Csizmadia has earned accolades for her excellence in teaching. Courses she's taught include parenthood and parenting, adolescent development, and developmental approaches to intergroup relations and victimization.

Adamsons
                     






Dr. Adamsons was awarded the faculty excellence in graduate teaching award. She is an associate professor in the Department of Human Development and Family Sciences and has been widely recognized for her teaching excellence. Courses that Dr. Adamsons has taught include theories of family development and close relationships.

 

These awards recognize individuals who rise above good instruction, engage students thoroughly in the process of learning, have contributed significantly to the intellectual life of the University through their teaching, and have a distinguished record of sustained teaching excellence.
