Exciting Opportunity to Feature Your Late-Breaking Research

NCFR's Research and Theory (RT) Section is excited to announce that we will be hosting a late-breaking poster session during the 2022 NCFR Annual Conference RT Section meeting. This session will be reserved for high-quality research findings that were not available at the time of the general March 1 proposal submission deadline. Submissions are due on Thursday, Sept. 1 via email to Dr. Beth Russell, Chair of RT ([email protected]). Submissions must include the following:

(1) a title;

(2) 2-3 keywords;

(3) a 250-word proposal that emphasizes research methods and findings;

(4) a 250-word statement of timeliness of the proposal (e.g., why the proposal was not submitted during the traditional NCFR submission period); and

(5) author information (names, affiliations, email addresses).

Proposals will be rigorously peer-reviewed by the RT Section executive team and a select number will be invited to present during the section meeting. Lead authors of proposals will be notified with selection decisions by Oct. 1, 2022.

We welcome submissions from all family scholars. You do not need to be an NCFR member or RT Section member to submit. Our goal is to ensure the timely dissemination of cutting-edge family-based research. Please contact Dr. Beth Russell ([email protected]) if you have questions about whether your work is suited for submission to the late-breaker poster session.
