The December 2017 issue of NCFR's Journal of Family Theory & Review is now available online. The journal publishes original contributions in all areas of family theory, including new advances in theory development, reviews of existing theory, and analyses of the interface of theory and method, as well as integrative and theory-based reviews of content areas, and book reviews.

This issue (Volume 9, Issue 4) features a special collection, original articles, book reviews, and film reviews.  See the table of contents.

This special collection is a summary and evaluation of almost 60 years of research on the consequences, causes, and other correlates of interpersonal acceptance and rejection in what is now known as interpersonal acceptance–rejection theory (IPARTheory). Ronald P. Rohner is the theory's author, and he invited most of the submissions in this special collection.
