Surge in Children Moving Back Home During Pandemic Coincides With Trend from Past Decade

Plus New Early-View Articles from NCFR Journals

NCFR member Karen L. Fingerman, Ph.D., is quoted at length in a story from The Atlantic that explores how the pandemic may change attitudes on adults living with a parent or grandparent.

Dr. Fingerman's research of grown children and their family relationships has found that in the past 15 years, intergenerational family ties have strengthened. One of these studies is the 2020 Decade in Review article in Journal of Marriage and Family (JMF) she authored with Meng Huo and Kira S. Birditt.

Articles in this issue of JMF are free access online until early 2021.
