• Brandon Burr, Ph.D., CFLE, assistant professor in human environmental sciences at the University of Central Oklahoma, is the recipient of the Emerging Scholar Award from the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences.

• Mike Cravens, Ed.D., professor of Family Science and counseling at Freed-Hardeman University, has been promoted to director of FHU's new Doctor of Behavioral Health degree, which begins in fall 2016.
