Longtime NCFR member George Wallace Denton passed away on Dec. 24, 2016. The founding director of Purdue University's marriage and family doctoral program, he received multiple honors and awards — including NCFR's Osborne Award — for his contributions to the field of family therapy. He authored several books and trained many Ph.D. students who went on to assume positions of leadership. He was 88 years old.
