NCFR member Tieracy Kaitlyn Brown, M.S., passed away on October 17, 2023, at the age of 26.

Ms. Brown completed her undergraduate degree in psychology at the University of Oklahoma where she was also a four-year member of The Pride of Oklahoma Marching Band, participated in the OU Concert Band, and was a member of Sigma Alpha Iota and Kappa Kappa Psi. She earned her master's degree at the University of Central Oklahoma in family & child studies—infant/child specialist. After graduation, she became a child navigator at Palomar, Oklahoma City’s Family Justice Center, where she was able to provide coordinated services to children and families.

Ms. Brown was a member of NCFR since 2022. She presented research at the NCFR Annual Conference that same year.

In addition to her work with families, Ms. Brown is remembered for her servant heart and willingness to make a difference, and making a lasting impression on those she was around.
