NCFR member and CFLE Chantel Laran Lumpkin passed away on Oct. 17, 2015, in St. Joseph, Michigan, at age 56.

Dr. Lumpkin was an NCFR member since 2000, and a CFLE since 2004. She served as an officer for the Ethnic Minorities Section, as chair-elect from 2010 to 2012 and as chair the following year.

A celebration of homegoing is planned for Nov. 7, 2015, at 11 a.m., at Journey Church in Benton Harbor, Michigan. More information and a place to post thoughts and memories is located on the Starks Family Funeral Homes website.
