Dr. Jerry J. Bigner passed away unexpectedly July 30, 2011. Dr. Bigner was a professor emeritus at Colorado State University in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies, and an NCFR member since 1966. He was a prolific author, researcher, editor, educating thousands of students in his long career. His family is comforted that he spent his last days in Maui, enjoying Hawaiian sunsets and snorkeling among turtles, fish and dolphins.
