Longtime NCFR member and Certified Family Life Educator Dr. Kathryn K. Dalbey Rettig passed away on Aug. 16, 2014, in Maplewood, Minnesota, at age 75.

Dr. Rettig was an NCFR member since 1967. She retired from the University of Minnesota's College of Human Ecology in 2011 after 26 years as a professor there. Previously, she had held positions at the University of Illinois, the state of Illinois' Department of Children and Human Services, the University of Iowa, and Glassboro State College.
