Roberta Frasier Anderson, 103

Longtime NCFR member Roberta Frasier Anderson, of Pendleton, Oregon, passed away on May 15, 2015, at age 103.

Her professional career included work as a county welfare department case worker; a member of the Home Economics Department at Washington State College (WSC), where she directed the day care program to help children of World War II veterans return to school; the head of the Department of Child Development at WSC; and family life and child development specialist at Oregon State University Extension Service.

She was the inaugural recipient of NCFR's Ernest G. Osborne teaching award in 1966, and was president of NCFR's Oregon affiliate in 1973-74.
