NCFR Conference Update: Virtual Registration is Open

Preliminary Schedule Now Available

Due to challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, NCFR's focus at this time is on developing a virtual conference to take place during the scheduled conference week in November. (See previous update)

Registration is now open to attend the conference virtually. This year's registration rates include a special "COVID year discount" designed to make it easier to participate in this year's academic sessions and other events, despite many extenuating circumstances.

A preliminary conference schedule is now available as a PDF download. A complete schedule with full session details will be available in late summer. Until then, read about our confirmed plenary presenters. More updates to come soon!

Updates for Conference Presenters

  • All proposal submitters were notified of their proposal status on Wednesday, May 20, 2020, by an email from OxfordAbstracts.com.

  • A second email notification from OxfordAbstracts.com with the dates, times, and session format of accepted proposals was sent on Tuesday, June 30, 2020.

  • First authors were asked to notify their co-authors.

  • If you did not receive the emails from May 20 or June 30, please check your junk, spam, promotions, or bulk mail folders. Email Cindy Winter with questions or concerns.

  • Presenters of symposium and interactive paper sessions were asked to indicate their preference of presenting either live or by providing a recording. A response is needed by Wednesday, July 15 to Cindy Winter.

Members of the conference planning committee are working now to coordinate session facilitators and address logistics pertaining to developing a virtual version of the conference.

Updated "COVID Year" instructions for presenters are currently being written and will be available by the end of the summer.
