October Issue and Early-View Articles Available from Family Relations


Since 1951, Family Relations: Interdisciplinary Journal of Applied Family Science (FR) has published basic and applied articles that are original, innovative and interdisciplinary and that focus on diverse family forms and issues. 

The October 2018 issue (Volume 67, Issue 4) is now available for subscribers. This issue features reflections on "doing family", articles on relationship quality and individual well-being, and life satisfaction. Included in this issue is a study led by NCFR members J. Kale Monk, Ph.D., CFLE, Brian G. Ogolsky, Ph.D., and Ramona F. Oswald, Ph.D., that finds a link between "on-again, off-again relationships" and psychological distress symptoms such as depression and anxiety. This article has been recently featured in many media outlets.
