Olson Discusses the Challenges and Future of the Circumplex Model of Marital and Family Systems

New Early View Articles in Journal of Family Theory & Review

The Journal of Family Theory & Review (JFTR) publishes original contributions in all areas of family theory, including advancing theories through critical and metatheoretical projects, and comprehensive reviews of literature and media.

Several new early-view articles are now available for JFTR subscribers, most notably an update to the Circumplex Model of Marital and Family Systems by its original author, David H. Olson, Ph.D.

Over the past 30 years, the Olson Circumplex Model has assisted researchers and practitioners alike in examining a couple's relationship through their flexibility, cohesion, and communication skills. In this new article, Dr. OIson and his co-authors present future directions and challenges for the model.
