Purdue University Northwest Program Receives CFLE Approval
The National Council on Family Relations (NCFR) is delighted to welcome the Human Development & Family Studies undergraduate degree at Purdue University Northwest to its roster of Certified Family Life Educator (CFLE) approved programs.
More than 130 degree programs at university and colleges throughout the United States and Canada have been approved by NCFR as meeting the criteria for the provisional CFLE credential. NCFR is pleased to report that between August and October 2017, these three previously approved schools renewed their CFLE-approved status for the next five years:
NCFR, which administers the CFLE credential, recognizes regionally accredited schools offering undergraduate and graduate degree programs with course work that includes content covering the 10 family life education content areas required for approval as a provisional CFLE. NCFR approval allows graduates of these programs the opportunity to apply for provisional CFLE certification without taking the CFLE exam.
