Two Immediate Openings: NCFR Affiliate Council Board 

The Affiliate Councils Board of the National Council on Family Relations (NCFR) has two immediate openings that will begin in November, following the 2018 NCFR Annual Conference in San Diego, California. Members of any state/regional or student affiliate council are invited to apply. These positions are a great way to expand your leadership experience!

Secretary – This role consists of preparing in-person and conference call meeting minutes, as well as attending three Affiliate Council Board conference meetings. This is a two-year position starting in November at the 2018 NCFR Annual Conference (San Diego, California) and running through the NCFR Annual Conference in 2020 (Saint Louis, Missouri).

Student and New Professional (SNP) Representative – This role consists of leading the award committee for the three Affiliate Councils Board awards, assisting the conference program chair with conference program planning, being the point person for creative SNP networking, and attending three Affiliate Councils Board conference meetings. This is a two-year position starting in November at the 2018 NCFR Annual Conference (San Diego, California) and running through the NCFR Annual Conference in 2020 (Saint Louis, Missouri).
