Throughout 2020, the COVID CELLO PROJECT has been gathering cellists from across the world to collaborate on pieces of music. For their tenth selection, 278 cellists from 29 countries united to perform the well known “Adiago for Strings” by Samuel Barber.

This piece is commonly used as a song of anguish and sadness, and features over 100 memorials of people who have left this earth, uploaded by the cellists they appear next to in the video.
