At the Malaysia Masters badminton tournament on May 25, an epic 211-shot rally developed between the Malaysian pair of Thinaah Muralitharan and Pearly Tan against Japan’s Rena Miyaura and Ayako Sakuramoto.

The rally lasted for over 3 minutes, an amazing feat of athleticism and perseverance, and will most likely be crowned a world record (the existing record in women's doubles is a 195-shot exchange from the 2022 Korena Open).
