Zippy's Video of the Week: Molecular Clusters Rap Dance

Despite the challenges of the global pandemic, graduate students around the world were undeterred in their quest to compete in the annual "Dance Your Ph.D." contest. The competition, established in 2008 and previously sponsored by Science magazine and the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) saw 40 contestants vie for the 2020 title while working under strict adherence to local COVID-19 restrictions.

This year's overall winner was Finnish students Jakub Kubecka, Ivo Neefjes, and Vitus Besel, who rapped their way through the physics of atmospheric molecular clusters. To quote one of their lyrics, they are "peerless... accepted without review."
