The Post-Doctoral Research Associate demonstrates an advanced knowledge of the program and is responsible for engaging in scholarly and creative research and evaluation. This includes managing and analyzing large datasets, collaboration with mentor and other faculty and staff involved on the project, being a major contributor on publications, creating evaluation reports, and assisting with the other research objectives of the project and the CARE lab as determined by the supervisor/mentor.

Applicant should possess a well-defined program of research as evidenced by peer reviewed publications and presentations. The candidate should be able to integrate spiritual issues with teaching and therapy. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, culturally competent, and focused on mentoring diverse students to become excellent clinicians and researchers. Responsibilities include: • Create and maintain an environment that facilitates 1) a strong sense of community; 2) an effective shared vision; 3) a highly productive, innovative, and entrepreneurial faculty and staff; 4) collaborative opportunities, and 5) a mutually supportive, diverse and intellectually stimulating environment for students, staff, and faculty. • Lead faculty and staff in implementing and enhancing the Department's undergraduate and graduate education programs, Cooperative Extension, and outreach initiatives to ensure programs are responsive to the evolving interests and needs of students and society.

Primary responsibilities include teaching and coordination of the online graduate individual, family, and community sciences program. Additionally, the candidate will contribute to teaching human services undergraduate-level courses as needed.
