The Illinois Council on Family Relations (ILCFR), a state affiliate of the National Council on Family Relations (NCFR), is pleased to announce its annual conference on "Resilience Among Urban & Rural Families" on April 27, 2018, at the Heartland Community College in Normal, Illinois.

The keynote speaker is Robin Fretwell Wilson, J.D., professor at the University of Illinois College of Law. Professor Wilson is the director of the college's Family Law and Policy Program and the Epstein Health Law and Policy Program. She will present “The Medicalization of Poverty: How Opening Healthcare Access to All Families Builds Resilience and Stops Disadvantaging Non - Traditional Families.”

The conference will also feature paper and poster presentations, panel discussions, and workshops.

Approved for 5 CFLE contact hours (0.5 CEU) of continuing education credit.
