The Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy program provides a solid foundation for practice as a marriage and family therapist. This program meets the educational requirements for licensure in California and is one of the only seven programs in the sstate that is accredited by the Commission on Accredidation for Marriage and Family Therapy (COAMFTE). The program includes a substantial practicum component in which the students spend on full year working under the supervision of licensed mental health professionals in a state-of-the-art onsite therapy training clinic. Students in this program complete a minimum of 60 credits.
