Print Advertising Details

Print advertising is closed for 2019. Details remain below for reference.

Get a full-color ad in the printed conference program book (see 2018's) distributed to all attendees at the conference. Black-and-white ads are available in November's CFLE Network, the quarterly newsletter for Certified Family Life Educators.

The ad deadline for the September 2019 NCFR Report magazine has passed, but advertising in Report is still available for other future issues.

Print Ad Specs

  • File Type/Quality: high resolution of 300 dpi in one of the following formats: PDF (with fonts embedded) or JPG
  • Color: four-color process for conference program book and NCFR Report; black and white for CFLE Network 
  • Bleeds and Trim Size: Full bleed (quarter inch) on full-page ads only for all print publications. Trim size (full page) is 8.5"w x 11"h.

Digital Advertising Details

Advertiser-Only Email to Registrants

Reach NCFR conference attendees with a message entirely about your organization!

You design your own email and provide NCFR with the file/code. Then, NCFR sends your email on your behalf (as an NCFR conference partner) to all conference registrants. We'll work with you on appropriate send timing before or after the conference.

  • Price: $2,000 for 1; $3,500 for both.
  • Circulation: Approximately 1,100+ conference registrants

Ads in Conference Emails to Registrants

Advertise to conference attendees in emails before the conference or daily during the conference. Your banner ad will display prominently across the full width of the email and within the top third of the email, and will be clickable to the URL of your choice.

  • Size: Please size your image at 1,200 pixels width x 500 pixels height. Ads will display at 600 x 250.
  • File Type/Quality: PNG or JPG file type set at maximum quality and 72 dpi resolution
  • Color: full-color available; RGB color values
  • Please note: You determine and create the content of your ad, but we encourage less text for greater effectiveness and accessibility.

Facebook Ad to NCFR Facebook Page Followers — FULL FOR 2019

Put your message in front of conference attendees, NCFR members, and others interested in Family Science who are among the 4,500+ people who follow NCFR on Facebook.

Submit ad text, image, and URL to NCFR and we'll run a Facebook ad — targeted to NCFR page followers — on your behalf as an NCFR conference partner.

  • Number available: 1 remaining
  • Price: $500. $200 is spent directly on your five-day Facebook ad.

Facebook Ad Content Requirements

  • Text length: 90 characters
  • Headline length: 25 characters
  • Image size: 1,200 x 628 pixels
  • Image aspect ratio: 1.91:1
  • Image should be no more than 20% text
  • Image file type: jpg or png
  • Will need an active URL

Conference App Push Notification 

Reach conference attendees while they're engaged during the conference with a push notification ad through the NCFR conference app. Your push notification ad — set up and sent by NCFR on your behalf as a conference partner — goes to the phones of conference app users. Your text headline will be displayed as a push notification on users' phones, and they can click into the notification to see further body text and link. 

Push notifications are also stored within the app's notifications section, available to conference attendees any time after the notifications are sent.

Nearly 50% of 2018 conference attendees reported using the app as their primary way to access the conference schedule, and conference app adoption has increased each year since NCFR introduced an app.
