BGSU’s Workforce Education and Development major with a specialization in Family and Consumer Sciences Education bachelor's degree provides you with unique opportunities to gain real-world experience during internships and student teaching as you prepare for teaching family and consumer sciences. Qualified family and consumer sciences educators are currently in demand in middle schools, high schools, and high school career centers.

In this degree program, you’ll receive a broad background in areas such as human development and family studies, apparel merchandising and product development, food and nutrition, interior design, health promotion, financial literacy, and career search.
