Child and Family Studies (Minor)

The Family and Child Studies (FCS) minor offers the opportunity to take courses in human growth and development, family dynamics, and family relationships. The minor prepares students to pursue a variety of careers relating to serving families and children. Students need to complete 21 semester hours of coursework. FACS majors are not eligible to declare this minor. Due to limited availability, the FCS minor may only be declared during certain times of the year.
