This training is an opportunity for current or potential members of a Domestic Violence (DV) council or Coordinated Community Response (CCR) team. It is intended for professionals who have the influence and ability to make policy and procedural changes within their own agency to better the response to domestic violence in our respective communities. The focus of the training will include the dynamics of domestic violence: how DV affects victims and why offenders batter. In addition, the training will focus on what a CCR group is and how it effectively functions to bring about positive change for victims/survivors of domestic violence.
