Healing Without Harming: Translating Trauma Information into Skills and Action
Participants of this one-day workshop will gain an overview of the evidenced-based trauma/adversity research and learn how to translate it into practical skills they can use daily for better outcomes. These skills focus on learning a trauma informed/coaching based form of communication.
Recommended for practitioners who work with those impacted by trauma such as teachers, social workers, court employees, attorneys, judges, physicians, nurses, CASA and other high risk youth volunteers, and foster parents.
The format of this one-day workshop includes lecture, discussion, small group activities, and individual-reflective activities.
