The National Council on Family Relations (NCFR) is committed to redressing systemic racism and opening doors where racial and ethnic barriers stand. To ensure inclusion of People of Color in the discipline of Family Science, NCFR announces the launch of the NCFR Student Access Grant. The grant will support registration fees for the 2021 NCFR Annual Conference for new and existing members and 1 year of membership for new student members* from historically marginalized racial or ethnic populations. NCFR membership and annual conference participation provides opportunities critical to academic and professional development and advancement.
To apply for the NCFR Student Access Grant, one must meet the following qualifications:
*New student members will be given NCFR membership in addition to conference registration. This excludes lapsed and/or previous members.
Please do not register for the conference until you have received confirmation on whether or not you have received the student access grant.
If you're a member, please provide your NCFR ID #.
