Objectives
By the end of this special session attendees will be able to: (1) Identify the complex set of stressors that communities and families are facing that necessitate a resilience approach (2) Describe the current state of the research, including strengths and gaps in what we know about how to build resilient communities (3) Identify ways that family scholars can help to build an integrated and forward leaning body of knowledge about effective resilience practice and policy
