Panel: Mara Briere, MA, CFLE, the president and founder of Grow a Strong Family in Massachusetts, a non-profit designed to help support families who have a loved one with mental illness; Emma Clapp, MA, CFLE, the executive director of The Family Success Center in Gadsen, AL, a non-profit designed to provide comprehensive and coordinated services allowing families to make positive changes in their lives; Janeal White, MS, CFLE, MIE, the Internship Coordinator and Visiting Lecturer for McNeese State University’s Family Science program. She has worked for several non-profit and religious organizations including Habitat for Humanity, Early Steps ECI, the Episcopal Diocese of Texas, and the Samaritan Counseling Center; Robyn Cenizal, B.S., Director of Family Strengthening with ICF, and Project Director, National Resource Center for Healthy Marriage and Families; Lexie Greeneberg, B.S., Case Manager, Community Brain Injury Services, Carrollton, VA
This session will feature a panel of practitioners across multiple fields sharing their experiences and information about opportunities for undergraduate students looking for jobs achievable with a BS/BA in Family Science (and related fields). Fields to be highlighted include healthcare, early childhood, schools, faith communities, family interventions, and more!
