Summary
This study attempts to understand the influence a sibling has during the process of sexual identity disclosure. It was hypothesized that an individual who has high contact and support from a sibling would be more likely to smoothly navigate the disclosure process. A mixed method approach was used to identity and to provide understanding of the role and impact siblings have when individuals disclose their sexual identity.

-- Participants will gain awareness of the role siblings play in sexual identity disclosure.
-- Participants will be able to apply strategies in the sexual identity disclosure process to support healthy family functioning.
-- Participants will learn how sibling support effects with sexual identity disclosure process to the family as a whole.
