2 Programs Renew CFLE-Approved Status

NCFR congratulates the following programs that have renewed their status as meeting the criteria for the Certified Family Life Educator (CFLE) certification:

University of Missouri

The Bachelor of Science degree program in Human Development and Family Science, at the University of Missouri-Columbia, provides students with the knowledge and training to work in a variety of settings while providing services to improve the lives of children, adults, and families.

Concordia University Wisconsin

The Master of Science program in Family Life, at Concordia University Wisconsin, prepares students to help families cope with challenges that they may confront, as well as learn skills to positively impact a child’s well-being and equip parents.

Thank you to these programs for their dedication to Family Life Education. For a list of CFLE-approved programs, visit NCFR’s Degree Programs Guide. More than 140 degree programs at universities and colleges throughout the United States and Canada have been CFLE-approved by NCFR.

NCFR, which administers the CFLE credential, recognizes regionally accredited schools offering undergraduate and graduate degree programs with course work that includes content covering the 10 Family Life Education content areas required for approval as a provisional CFLE. NCFR approval allows graduates of these programs the opportunity to apply for provisional CFLE certification without taking the CFLE exam.
